USMLE Step 2 CK (Clinical Knowledge) assesses the application of medical knowledge and clinical science to patient care under supervision. There is no fixed national exam date: the USMLE is delivered year-round at Prometric on almost every weekday (excluding major US holidays and roughly the first two weeks of January). When you register — through your medical school or the ECFMG for international graduates — you receive an eligibility period within which you schedule a seat. The ABFM Family Medicine Certification Examination (FMCE) autumn window runs 9–18 November 2026 (excluding Sundays), delivered by Prometric. Standard registration ran Jul 10 – Aug 17 2026, with late registration to Sep 21 2026. A spring window is also offered each April. See ABFM for details.
